For day 3 of Giftmas, it was all about some gorgeous goodies for 20 quid and under…

…also unofficially known as the lovely soaps and candles category! I just can’t help myself ok! I just like nice smells and I can’t help it! Anyway! Whether you’re looking for stocking fillers, a secret santa gift for someone you don’t know all *that* well, something unique and thoughtful for someone close to you (or just something you know they’ll get use out of)-hopefully this category shows you truly don’t have to spend a fortune to give something lovely at Christmas.

Anyway- let’s start at the top! The gorgeous ice-cream looking soaps from Roger & Gallet truly stole my heart, as well as this Annings of Dorset shampoo bar I discovered this summer, which uses discarded seashells to make for one of the prettiest pocket-sized bathroom accompaniments I’ve come across. There’s also Anya Hindmarch’s joyous ‘When In Doubt Wash Your Hair’, which is full of so many brilliant pick-me-ups and nuggets of wisdom, it’ll have you wanting to reread and underline for inspirational one liners again and again. I also couldn’t not include Rare Birds new ‘True Crime’ book smells candle from their new collection inspired by favourite genres (they also have romantic comedy and…bodice ripper… ahem)- which I think is the best idea, and would make for a gorgeous gift for any bookworms in your life. And whilst we’re on candles! The Heather Evelyn handwritten duo make for the prettiest gift and finishing touch for any table scape or mantlepiece too (I also love her cards and baubles for other purse-friendly picks too). In terms of beauty; I don’t think you can go wrong with a lippy, a classic balm dot com (their new cookie flavour is *chefs kiss*) or nail varnish- and Licia Florio do the most luxurious polishes, with Paul & Joe’s lipsticks always being the most adorable ever. Finally, I couldn’t not include a favourite from last years TIGC x Sighh collab (which is still in stock if you wanted a nosey… Polly also has some in-credible diaries this year too), and this mayo print from the uber talented PollWollDoods– who does the best affordable prints. This set also comes with a Colmans and Tabasco special; but she has so many to oogle at that you’re sure to find something that suits your sauce loving pal.

Some other lovely picks under £20 worth a special mention…

  • A Choose Love donation: If in doubt, a donation in the shape of one of Choose Love’s virtual gifts is the perfect gift. Choose supplies, services and various bundles (from a warm dinner or coat) for someone who needs it most, and know your money is truly going somewhere important this festive season.
  • Some postal edibles: Some brownies arriving on your doorstep as you get in from work? Yes please! Cupcakes by Hester do delicious home-delivered brownies (with 12 including PB, Nutella, Biscoff and salted caramel)- and would make for the perfect treat (they’re juuuust over £20 but I couldn’t not). Additionally, for more perfect letterbox lovelies, Dees Basement do the best madeleines and tray bakes to your door and Afternoon Crumbs have the cutest personalised gingerbread people too.
  • Our Daily Edit: For the fanciest socks, slippers and beauty picks- my favourite Brighton based lifestyle and fashion shop has you covered.
  • Something lovely for their home: For the prettiest ceramic pots, Abbey Lou Studio has some gorgeous ones (she’s doing a lot of IRL Christmas markets, but do DM her)! I also love these personalised terrazzo trays from RoseWorksLDN. For a further selection of gorgeous affordable gifts I love Originals Studio and We Are Dill too.
  • Sew Botanical hoops: For the plant lover, these Sew Botanical embroidery hoops are the perfect make-at-home beautiful gift.
  • Beeswax Wraps: The ultimate affordable and useful gift- these wraps are something I see in so many shops but never get round to picking up; the perfect stocking filler for someone who likes doing their bit.
  • The Calligraphy Store: Give the art of stunning handwriting this Christmas with this beginners calligraphy kit, or their adorable bauble making kit.

I’ve also added previous links to guides which largely fall under the ‘under £30’ or ‘stocking filling’ brolly, if you need some more ideas (as well as some extra picks below)!

Come back tomorrow for day 4 of Giftmas, for the little one!
