Today I thought I’d share another little look I cooked up whilst in Edinburgh last week. I probably spent all of ten minutes packing my suitcase, naturally without trying anything on- so arriving and realising I had some viable outfit options was a true twist of fate.
With our last few trips up to Scotland requiring serious layering pieces, woollen socks and gloves (it certainly was warmer than our last trip)- I was a little unsure of what to expect on the weather front.
Fortunately, packing everything from jeans, t-shirt’s and midi dresses was a safe bet, and I found this little getup perfect for a stroll around the city (I promise I’ll stop wearing these trainers soon too- they just also happen to wash really well in the washing machine, haha)! It’s nice looking back on some of my posts from this year and seeing how much of a brilliant investment this little bag was too- certainly not cheap, but the cost per wear must be now down to mere pennies…

So! The dress! This dress is something I recently picked up from Olive Clothing– arguably one of the first brands I ever featured on here, and one I’ve recently rediscovered (you may remember some of their dreamy pieces from days gone by here, here, here and here). Although they have some of the most beautiful pieces shot and stocked online (and in their gorgeous Cheltenham store), my one main gripe is their sizing. I was almost reluctant to share them on here because of it (it’s something I fundamentally always feel a bit funny about)- but as most of their items are only in one size, it can make things quite difficult to gage the fit, and naturally, appeal to everyone who deserves to be catered for. Despite also having a gorgeous accessory selection, I truly wish they’d accommodate their sizing a little more- as I know this would truly make them one of the best little gems on the internet. The dress here is beautiful, I just wish it came in more sizes, too!
Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday! Let me know what you’d like to see more of here too- as I’m finally back to my 4 posts a week, and want to make sure I’m ticking all the boxes too…!

June 21, 2018 at 10:51 pmThis is such a gorgeous dress! I love everything from the shape to the colour and of course the print. The only time I was in Edinburgh the weather was beautiful, sunny and warm although it was just April. It makes the city so much more beautiful (if that’s even possible because it’s a gorgeous gorgeous place!)
