Girl Undiscovered
This brand was arguably the one I got the most excited about. After coming across them in Palm in Nelson, my heart skipped a beat as I saw their gorgeous packaging on the shelf. Carrie, Victoria and I all got very excited indeed, and all picked up their Under The Waterfall Crystal Cleansing Water (a.k.a the micellar of the bunch) and their Stars Aligning Organic Face Elixir. With the antique style bottles infused with real garlands of flowers and quartz and citrine crystals, it would be easy to think this brand is all pretty-packaging and no substance (who isn’t partial to something that’ll look nice on their bathroom shelf?) But these products are more than just an aesthetic. With all ingredients being natural, NZ owned and made, cruelty free as well as having no parabens or synthetic fragrances- they’re a real gem in the beauty world and the story behind them is just as charming too.

Ashley & Co.
I can comfortably say that Ashley & Co. are some of the most delicious smelling products I’ve come across, and discovering them in Christchurch was a total treat. Having picked up the Peppy & Lucent Balanced Shampoo and the Soothe Tube Blossom & Gilt intensive hand cream (which smells incredibly of tuberose, jasmine and ylang ylang)- it’s quickly become a desk side staple and is by far one of the loveliest hand creams I’ve picked up.
Beauty Dust Co.
Finally, this little soap from another gorgeous brand called Beauty Dust Co. Although this brand are primarily a hair care brand (they have an incredible range of root touch up products, brushes, along with shampoo’s and conditioners) it was the Natural French Milled Goat soap with Shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil and Manuka honey that had me at hello (and was a little more generous on packing space too). Although the packaging is gorgeous (I mean, you know the call by now)- these natural ingredient based products truly pack a punch and tick off the affordable and functional boxes too.
