Ok, so perhaps Primark aren’t as cheap as they once were. Gone are the days you can go in with £20 and pick up two dresses and a pair of shoes, or even a shop’s worth of t-shirts, however, recently I’ve found more and more quality pieces in the store, which could easily be mistaken for other high street shops- a great example is this dress. Being on a bit of a tight budget last week, and desperate for a piece to wear out during the week, I headed to Primark. Amongst the masses of pattern emblazoned chiffon dresses I spotted this. At first I was a little unsure, having quite a boyish figure shift dresses occasionally have the tendency to swamp me, but with a belt this dress won me over. Not only is it completely versatile, made with a thick fabric (nothing wishy washy here) and embellished with gorgeous embroidery, but after buying it I remembered some other pieces it distinctly reminded me of…
(cough cough dress number 3 cough cough)
and what can I say? The rest is history. I look forward to seeing more of Primark’s AW stuff hitting the shops in the next few months (I posted about it here on Sophie’s blog) and with my current student budget, I won’t feel too guilty afterwards.

P.S I was also interviewed by the gorgeous Robyn on her blog, which you can have a peek at here!
