This is what I wore yesterday, after my wonderful surprise picnic, courtesy of my best friend, Gemma. I must say, the weather yesterday was particularly confusing- what with Monday’s forecast reaching a whooping 31 degrees, yesterday was forecast 26 with showers- (and in a Carrie Bradshaw style) it made me wonder, what does one wear in this weather?
Anyway, after a while of searching my wardrobe, blogs and Lookbook for outfits- I resorted to my usual ‘go to’ outfit of jeans and a tee (vest in this instance). I also braved wearing my new wool floppy hat I bought in New York. I must say, I was incredibly worried about wearing it, and looking daft, but after pondering and asking Twitter- I went for it, and although my dad said it was very ‘poet’ looking (he said it was a ‘Bob Dylan’ hat), I’m glad I did- as it also proved a very good umbrella come the storms we had yesterday afternoon!
