As much as I can find this time of year a little overwhelming, I do like a bit of reflection in moderate doses (enough anyway until popping on the monthly Spotify playlists makes me a a bit #emotional, then we’ve know had too much)…
And although I’ll work on a big ol’ yearly roundup as per normal soon (for traditions sake)- I thought I’d pop up some of my favourite takeaways (other than Domino’s, ho ho ho) from the year- because no matter how many ups or downs you’ve had- you can (hopefully) usually dish out a life lesson or two in the process- how grown up!
Anyway- this was meant to be a long form piece, but after jotting things down as they came to mind yesterday, I thought I’d scan them in exactly as they came to me- no frills, no perfect handwriting and just as they are (bar a nice background to snazz it up a bit). Sometimes the best, and most important things don’t need embellishing (but do pardon any spelling errors- I was halfway between a bath and stripping the bed)! ALSO, apologies for my ineligible rushed writing too! It looks nice when I sit and write properly, but sometimes no can do- Happy New Years!
I hope you all have a peaceful, happy and healthy new years and celebrations this evening- whatever you’re doing. Thank you for being the best.

January 2, 2020 at 2:20 pmSuch a beautiful aesthetic: I also learnt to trust my gut in 2019, it can be a bit hard to go against what your brain is telling you, but your gut is usually right.
Happy New Year!
