Can you believe it’s been over three months since our wedding day? (Probably) three months since I last panic-looked at a spread sheet (‘THIS WEEK WE’RE DUE TO BAKE CAKES! HOW DID IT COME AROUND SO SOON!’) , Worried about wrong addresses and debated the Pimm’s/vs, gin cocktails with people, unlike me, who had in fact tried both (Pimm’s won, obviously- and AREN’T I GLAD IT DID)…

But- seeing as I’ve shared everything up until this point- from university dropouts, our engagement and first home- it feels like another chapter that actually, I’m really excited to document. I know how much I inhaled other peoples wedding chatter in the lead up to ours, so if it helps, reassures or inspires any decisions in the lead up to someone else’s (even if it’s that you really needn’t worry that much about your nail colour or the font on your place names), then I’m more than happy to oblige.

So, with that said- enter wedding month over on What Olivia Did. Because Olivia got married (!) GAH! When my friend Carrie got married, she did something similar over on her beautiful blog- so I thought I’d dedicate a couple of weeks of posting to all things wedding- from a big day round-up, picking the dress, our playlist (which is laughably probably the thing I feel the most precious about) and some of the most important things I’ve learnt too (including everything we think matters, that in fact, truly doesn’t). Selfishly, I’m excited to re-indulge in all of those happy memories- and perhaps see this as a coming back to work and talking to all my patient colleagues about our special day kind-of-thing. It truly was the most wonderful, unforgettable day (even if I did feel a bit of pressure around the ‘IT’LL BE THE HAPPIEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE!’ remarks) and I hope you’ll enjoy reliving it as much as I will. So, pop on this playlist (it’s a long one, so will probably last the month) and stay tuned and let’s rewind to May 2019…
