Santa Monica Pier

After uploading my guide to Santa Monica yesterday and revisiting the sunshine, sharing these outfit pictures certainly feels like a bit of a throw back.

I mean- honestly, it absolutely doesn’t feel like nearly two months ago we were on the pier watching arguably the most sensational sunset I’ve ever seen (honestly, #nofilter #blessed #omg come to mind)- but with spring on the way in the U.K (for now- don’t hold me to this), it typically feels slightly more timely (and hopefully a little more inspiring) by having held off for a bit!

So- as you can imagine, with Storm Gareth just about out of the way (how nice is it to actually have your hair down without worrying where it’ll end up five minutes after leaving the house?)- I’ve been feeling very ready to revisit La La Land indeed. Although I don’t have any travel immediately lined up in the near future, and there sadly isn’t another visit on the horizon- skimming through these pictures with a UK spring around the corner was just about enough to get me excited for weather over ten degrees and lighter evenings too.

On top of that, I wanted to share an outfit that I know will make for the perfect trans-seasonal get up too. Having been sent the trousers from gorgeous new sustainable brand Oh Seven Days– I had a field day styling them up with my old Me + Em cord jacket and much-loved plain COS t-shirt. It’s the kind of outfit I know would be great for running errands around in, without veering on the edge of ‘good heavens pull yourself together a bit woman!’ Oh Seven Days have some absolutely gorgeous pieces from fabric cut offs, and it always feels like a bit of a win discovering a young brand doing such exciting things too.

Anyway! That’s all from that side of the pond for now. Next week normal blogging service will resume, thank you so much for baring with me over the busy few weeks! Have a gorgeous weekend all!
