First things first- apologies for the delay with the July and August playlists. I didn’t post July because I was largely in a time warp of ABBA and very little else (no, really) and for some reason August slipped by the wayside. Anyway! I’m back today with a plethora of delightful new music and two shiny new playlists to compensate. If I’m being honest, the last couple of months I’ve probably made more effort by way of discovering new artists than I have all year (even if not new to you, definitely new to me), and have currently fallen head over heels for Molly Burch (it was ‘Boys’ that set me off), Fickle Friends and Haim’s (musical) cousins, The Aces. Although August was definitely a throwback music packed month (Crystal Fighters and Jack Penate made for perfect beach road tripping music)- it’s been a fun couple of months for listening, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
