If there’s something I’ve learnt since moving in to my own house, it’s that I’m really, really not a dab hand at D.I.Y.
When we moved in, I had a heap of prints I’d collected and acquired, yet the idea of actually framing them and, gasp, heaven forbid, putting them on the wall- seemed a bit daunting (I know, I’m the same girl who doesn’t trust herself to change a lightbulb either- but can cope with a power cut v.well I promise).
Anyway! After doing a post with Desenio when we first moved in, and a follow up with more of our favourites with some of the first pieces on our walls- we’ve since added substantially more to our collection- with the two latest rooms being the office and bedroom.
So, in true over sharing fashion, I thought I’d share with you some of my favourite new prints, how we’ve framed them and some of other favourite places to pick up art online- in case you’re seeking some too!

The Office (No Ricky in sight)
After painting the room earlier this year in the dreamiest Middleton Pink, and finally having our shelves put in- I was desperate to start creating a little gallery wall in the room with things I’ve saved, and a couple of new additions too. Although the framing, acquiring and mapping out process took a bit of a while- we’re finally on the home stretch and I’m super happy with how they look (despite the fact it has a little way to go)! The first thing I wanted to go up was my Cosmo Blog Award- one of my first ever blogging accolades in 2011 and something I hold dearly (the artist is Ros Sheirs).
On the wall we also have a couple of prints from my absolute favourite Jasmine Dowling; the roses and the ‘yeah nah’ print. Her typography and eye for colour and design is absolutely unrivalled and I love checking out what she’s been doing. Her peach and ‘With Love Always’ are in our bedroom too. On top of that we also have this Jade Fisher ‘I am woman’ print which I picked up at the Princes Trust Tomorrow’s Store– it’s one of my favourite prints, and inspired to make this wall a bit of a ‘wall of women’- with favourite inspiring women, and artists all going up here.
On top of that, I’m hugely prone to keeping beautiful editorials and photographs- and wanted to get this photo from Haim’s cover story in Stylist framed alongside a photograph I have of Jane Birkin. I really want to expand on this- but love the idea of being able to keep cuttings and turn them into part of something beautiful and a bigger picture.
It was such a hard decision, but this is probably one of my favourites and sits perfectly with the others in terms of colourings. We also have this David Shrigley above our bed, which was actually a tea towel that we got properly framed and was so, so worth doing.
Finally, this Oliver Bonas ‘take my hand and run’ print has been a long time favourite- just now to decide how we style these on the wall with the mirror- I almost quite like them leaning… Any advice do let me know!

I also did a call out on Instagram from brilliant artists and creators, so I’ve listed some of my favourites below in case you’re after some suggestions for your space too!
