From The Archive: 2016

The year of travel- from Aus to Africa- as well as some of my favourite ever photos, I hope 2016 brings a small dose of wanderlust (and fashion inspiration if not)!

Europe Travel

Wonderful Copenhagen

(Dress: ASOS, Bag: Zara, Shoes: Next (old but similar here), Bracelet: Trollbeads)

Ever since watching my numero uno duo Richard Ayoade and Noel Fielding stomp around in Copenhagen in my top T.V pleasure, Travel Man, I had put the city top of my European travel list and had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to visit ever since. So, when Marriott got in touch mentioning their gorgeous hotel AC Hotel Bella Sky Copenhagen (which is every bit as arty and Scandi as it is inside as it is on the outside) and a potential trip to the city featuring my favourite ladies Carrie, Kristabel, Dunya and Lucy– I naturally started foraging for my passport in messy drawers and checking BBC for the cities forecast…

Although I have a city guide coming up later this week, I thought I’d show you a little peek of the city beforehand! After spending the weekend ticking off tourist spots, riverside walks and some highly recommended foodie spots- I can safely say the city has shot up to one of my ultimate ‘must-visits’ in the world. Not only are the people some of the friendliest and most accommodating (nearly everyone spoke English, which undeniably makes me very lazy with my basic phrases) but the city has so much to offer whether you’re a culture vulture, shopping maven, foodie fiend or just after a chilled weekend away (we even saw people paddle boarding?!)- I couldn’t recommend it enough (and that’s without mentioning the Scandi style there). Although I’m probably sure you saw plenty over on Instagram– stay tuned for more later this week! Next time it’ll be more than just a weekend I’m sure…

(A big thank you to Marriott and AC Hotels for looking after us on this city adventure, more soon!)
