From The Archive: 2016

The year of travel- from Aus to Africa- as well as some of my favourite ever photos, I hope 2016 brings a small dose of wanderlust (and fashion inspiration if not)!

The Bloggers Market 3.0!

Time for round 3!

Well didn’t that fly by? It felt like only last night I was surrounded by a heap of clothes, ready to be bagged, tagged (in fancy new tags from Awesome Merchandise nonetheless) and whisked off to The Hoxton Holborn for our third ever Bloggers Market! Although it did admittedly look like I was moving house when I packed up the car to London (there were several cases filled to the brim)- the day flew by in a blink, and as ever it was such a pleasure being able to pull it all off!

With my gals Carrie, Lucy, Kristabel and Dunya having already hosted a couple of markets already, we had a clearer idea of what we wanted it to be this time around- and for things to be a little more exciting each time! This time we were lucky enough to have snacks care of Cuckoo (for breakfast treats), Propercorn (because, well, popcorn), Vita Coco for thirst quenching goodness and the incredible Nicole from Afternoon Crumbs baking some of the most stunning (and delicious) cakes I’ve ever sampled- branded, naturally.

But it wasn’t just about clothes and food (although that is a dreamy duo)- we also had an Instagram room filled with props from Oliver Bonas and blooms from Bloomon– making sure everyone could snap their purchases (have a nosey on #TheBloggersMarket hashtag if you fancy) and even learn a few tips from Carrie during a workshop throughout the day! The gorgeous Maelle from Cirque De Papier also was on hand to get busy illustrating you lovely ladies on to takeaway notebooks too- meaning we certainly had our fingers in several pies this time too!

Finally- thank you so much to everyone who came, helped, sponsored and supported us again for the event. We couldn’t do it without so many wonderful readers, brands and willing family members (my dad, Joe and nan played top sales people) and it turned out to be one of my favourites so far! Hopefully one day we’ll be able to travel a little further afield, but for this time- thank you if you could make it, and of course let us know what you thought too! Here’s to the next!
