Off Duty

If there’s one thing I’m constantly trying to incorporate into my day-to-day wardrobe, be it for meeting hopping, dog walking or heading round Sainsbury’s (pretending I’m being totally ‘effortless’) it’s the ‘off duty’ look. The ease of being able to pull on a pair of worlds most worn jeans, trainers and backpack and make it look as easy as Cara D hopping between LFW shows (in my head, anyway)…

…I’m not quite sure this’ll have me snapped up by Vanessa Jackman (a girl can dream), but this & Other Stories duster coat, dinky pink backpack and worlds coolest trainers from Anthropologie (not just fantastic homeware, FYI) make me feel almost ready to waltz for the number 11 towards Aldwych (let’s face it, it’s more likely to be a frantic run)- but I suppose that’s the power of a good outfit, right?
