True romantics sleep alone

I suppose you could say this is my take on the ‘Military’ trend we’re preparing for this autumn. With leather sleeved camo jackets sweeping the blogosphere and more importantly the high street, military jackets adorning the front of most vintage shops- it seems solider-esque style has never been so cool, and I can only suggest swapping Alexa for Action Man.

My take however, was arguably a little more subtle. I’m never one to fully embrace trends (unless they incorporate an oversized collar and ditzy print of course), and therefore opted for this khaki silk shirt; perfectly cool for this mini heatwave we appear to be having, and toned down enough that I can probably wear it under a pinafore or something equally as Primary school-esque come this Autumn. I decided to team it with some denim cut offs and a cream coloured body, for a look arguably a little cleaner than my own, but fun to embrace nonetheless!
