Outside the Flower Shop

(Dress: C/O Ukulele, Bag: Topshop, Shoes: Next, Bracelets: Claire’s & Oliver Bonas)

Ah, Liberty. The beautiful department store omnipresent on my Instagram feed, the bunches of sorbet-toned peonies and delicate buds huddled in bunches and the gaggles of teens swarming around them like buzzing bee’s (only waiting for an iPhone photograph instead). There’s no wonder Liberty has such a special feel about it, it’s a London bloggers cliche, and why shouldn’t it be? Who can resist it’s Tudor exterior, tempting beauty hall and the displays consistently outside? I know it’s not something I’d easily get tired of, that’s for sure (if there’s ever a location that promises both stationary and cakes, you can guarantee I’ll be a fan)…

Anyway- these photographs were taken during mine and Joe’s recent stay on Regent Street. After grabbing lunch nearby, we decided to brave the Saturday shopping crowds (not recommended, and patience of a Saint advised), to take some photos in one of my favourite central pockets. Okay, so I may have looked a little (lotta) bridal, or even a little milk-maid chic, but this dress from Ukulele is surprisingly wearable, and paired with a biker jacket and flat sandals claims it’s place as one of the easiest pieces to wear in my wardrobe- huzzah! Now just to try and wear tights underneath it until the weather perks up again…
