Our second day in Amsterdam was spend exploring, picking up hidden gems from beautiful independent shops (and spoiling ourselves a little- hurry up pay day!) and pulling out Google Maps to try and discover where that burger bar was (luckily, you can walk most of the central city on foot, so everything is possible). For the occasion I pulled out this And Other Stories dress I’d spied a few months back now, and although I had to make a little pit stop to pull on something marginally warmer (what you don’t see on this shot is the massive bear coat I was wearing on top), it’s such a gorgeous piece and certainly has something a little Orla Kiely about it (quirky zebra print all the way)!
If the last few days away taught me anything, it’s how lucky I am to have such a special group of friends, and how amazing it is that these little online web logs (lol, I definitely used that term) all bought us together. I’m not sure I’ve laughed as hard in such a short proximity in a while (so much so I’m a little disappointed I haven’t developed some kind of six pack) and it’s pretty nice to be around people who genuinely don’t mind lunch getting cold in order to get that Instagram snap (oh what am I saying, we definitely didn’t let it get cold) and share the same, odd, sense of humour. Either way and in all seriousness- you can check out Lucy, Carrie, Kbel and Dunya’s Amsterdam posts here too- so you’ll be fully prepared for any New Year (or festive) excursions you have planned! Stay tuned for my guide, very, very soon too!
