From The Archive: 2013

With magazine placements on the side, 2013 was the last year I juggled blogging as a side gig. Things get a bit girlier in the style department too, with a lorra love for the sixties and a 'hive!

My days end best when this sunset gets itself

(Hat: Topshop, Sunglasses: Free People, Shirt: C/O Shipment, Shorts: American Apparel, Shoes: Bertie, Bag: C/O Brit Stitch)

One of my favourite things to wear in the past few weeks (bar this week of course; this week is all about the coat and tights) has been a loose (and pretty) button up blouse and some trusty American Apparel denim cut offs (identical to the Topshop ‘Mom’ shorts). I’ve done pastels, I’ve done head to toe burgundy and now florals (read: this Shipment shirt) has taken the limelight. Paired with my new custom designed and completely coordinated Brit Stitch bag (those lovely people have recently started offering a personalisation service, at the extra cost of only Β£10, you know what to do) it’s been my go for ease, and even, dare I say it- makes me feel a little bit Flozza Welch- which you and I both know it always a good thing. Plus, peppered with maroon accessories and my go-to Rimmel 07 lipstick- it makes it a little less summery and a little more Autumn- which is trendy, or something- I think?

Additionally, each item on Shipment is one of an incredibly small number of stock, meaning it may only be you and ten other people with that one item- which is pretty cool huh? Plus, isn’t that where the charm of vintage shopping lies? Exactly ; )

and here’s what I wore…
