I’ve wanted a leopard coat for a pretty long while now. The thought of being able to throw it on top of summer dresses in winter (tights too, of course), add it on top of a classic striped tee and red lipstick combination or simply with jeans and a simple t shirt- they’re like the missing jigsaw piece for a basic (to interesting) outfit. Of course, with a leopard coat there’s the relentless Kat Slater/Bet Lynch panic- to which the thought of buying one could mean I’d look more like an, erm, outgoing, soap star once married to Alfie Moon than a chic Olsen, or of course Miss Chung.
However, after popping into my local Scope on a complete off chance, I spotted this bad boy on a rail and never looked back. Doing good AND finding a good deal? YES! Okay, it makes me look a little bit like a leopard teddy bear with it’s fluffiness, but hey- at least I’m warm. I teamed it with another beautiful piece from my favourite Olive– and pinky jeans from last summer in order to look like the love child of Suki Waterhouse and Miles Kane- dreamy huh?
Anyway, I took a few days away from posting, which although I don’t really like to do- did me a world of good when feeling poorly- remedied with lots of rest, a good day out with blogging pals, the final ideas of a Youtube channel and a complete sob-fest (read: grizzling) at Les Miserables I’m feeling much perkier and ready to bombard you with posts and new poses (I jest, still silly smiles and twirling- duh).
