Last Friday, during a moment of spontaneity, two of my best friends and I decided to venture North of our glorious capital and on to the beautifully titled Primrose Hill for some exploring (and of course, cake)! After moments spent giggling on an empty tube carriage (bad galz) we whipped out Google Maps and located our way across a suitably bright bridge and on to a parade of beautiful houses and shops, with the last of the Christmas lights still twinkling. After window shopping along the way, we settled for paninis and omelets in the colourful and buzzing, Toy Cafe.
For ‘lunch-desert’ we popped a couple of shops down and cosied up inside ‘Sweet things’ cake shop – to which we sampled cupcakes, cookies and some pretty lovely tea (although I could have easily sampled the brownies, gingerbread, sponge, biscuits- you get the idea…) which was the end to the perfectly girlie day (before an evening in Chicken shop and celebratory drinks for the beautiful Lucy’s birthday- love you Lucy!)
You can see Daisy’s post on our lovely day out here too!
