It seems sartorially, if you want to be in the mood to get festive- for goodness sake WHIP OUT THE VELVET. Wearing this Lavish Alice playsuit for the first time this winter had me positively feeling like a hip Mrs Claus (I’m joking- I could never be hip), and teaming it with a very British bowler and boots pretty much equated for a new-seasonal go to. Add in a Christmassy backdrop (check the wreath guyz) and some festively dressed pals to take your photograph, and boom.

Speaking of festive pals, these outfit photos were very kindly snapped by a certain Miss Harwood, whilst on a festive fandazzle with some of my best blogging buddies (a cheeky Lucy and Kristabel not in shot). We explored the taste (and smell) sensation that is Borough Market for lunch, delved into the depths of Angel’s Camden Passage and vintage haven (after having tackled thousands of Santa’s) indulged in juicy chicken and brownies at The Chicken Shop- and wound up back in North London curled up watching Charlie and the Chocolate factory- if that isn’t fun, then I don’t know what is…
