From The Archive: 2012

A year of fewer questionable outfit choices, I finally found my blogging groove in 2012, and here you can find some favourite pieces, band interviews as they first appeared and a lot of hats too...

Why I want a daughter while I’m still young

(Shirt: Benetton, Hat: Camden, Skirt: Benetton, Belt: Accessorize, Shoes: Russell & Bromley)

It seems lately I’ve become a little more daring with my wardrobe. Okay, so perhaps this isn’t the greatest example of a courageous outfit- Charlie Chaplin chic? I think not. But, in terms of accessorising and adding a little more personality to what I wear; I think I’m doing ok. My collection of hats has seriously expanded, I wear more jewellery- and today, get this- I bought a scarf. Not bad for a girl who used to only ever be seen in jeans and a scruffy t shirt…

Anyway, today’s post comes to you with a hugely Benetton based outfit. Having not poked my head into one of their stores since I was a nervous geeky year 7 wearing a quilted Barbour esque coat (which, FYI was the done thing at my school) I’ve never really gone out of my way to pay them a visit. However, recently my mind has changed. With an extensive heritage collection lining it’s walls; well fitted jeans to challenge that of Levis (I’m serious ladies), shirts in more colours than a Farrow & Ball colour pallet, cool oversized mannish coats and some stunning knitwear- it’s safe to say my mind has been changed.

P.S I also have most of this months ads now up, so take a cheeky look to your right and click away! I promise you won’t regret it…

P.P.S The gorgeous Ella did the kindest post and illustration of me today on her blog; I am so totally blown away and seriously suggest a little peek!
