From The Archive: 2012

A year of fewer questionable outfit choices, I finally found my blogging groove in 2012, and here you can find some favourite pieces, band interviews as they first appeared and a lot of hats too...

You’re down for tonight, down for whatever, like nothing can break your heart

As of late, my favourite colour has definitely been this rich shade of maroon (or ‘ox blood’) which seems to have brought a welcome update to my wardrobe. Having worn the colour as my primary school uniform several years back, I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for it- and with it being adorned on practically every desirable garment this season it’s no wonder it’s sneaking it’s way back. Teaming it with an oversized boyfriend coat and this Isabel Marant inspired shirt from Glamorous, I was feeling quite the trendy Wendy this afternoon.

Anyway, enough of my autumnal ramblings. This week has been a pretty busy one, and with Thursday bringing the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards- a pretty surreal one at that. Although I have a post dedicated to the night coming up- I still want to say a HUGE thank you to those who voted for me, amazingly- I did come away with something (eek) but will talk about that when the post goes live in the week! I also managed to finally see my beautiful pal Shannon Wardrop play at the Hoxton Underbelly this week, so if you haven’t checked her out, please give her music a listen here– some real goose bumpingly good songs!
