From The Archive: 2010

My first year of blogging and my first venture of documenting everything I wore from sixth form uniform, collections I loved and everything from my teenage bedroom (with a few interesting fashion statements made)...

The Cat That Cried Wolf

(to view these images bigger visit here or here)

These stunning illustrations are by the tremendously talented Beci Ward, an artist and illustrator from South East London. Beci’s images are essentially created using a gorgeous Faber-Castell Pitt artist pen (which is waterproof Indian ink) and specialist ink techniques with each and every intricate detail considered on every last corner of the page. Beci is inspired by ‘snap shots, moments in time, collaboration and combining lots of images at the same time’ and works with children creating detailed and decorative mosaic projects.

I was lucky enough to be drawn by Beci herself, and I can honestly say I’m thrilled with the result (she even drew my favourite Russian hat in and gave it a pretty background!)

So, if you do one thing with your snow day or check out one site whilst having your cup of afternoon tea, check out her work/blog becasue it is amazing and she deserves all the recognition she can get!
