Forever Pieces

(Blouse: C/O Finery, Jeans: & Other Stories (old but similar here), Bag: & Other Stories, Shoes: V by Very)I’m sure it’ll come as no surprise that one of my favourite sites this summer has been Finery. Having added pieces from the word go (including this ruffled top and technicolor trousers)- I was more than excited to add in this blouse into my wardrobe for the end of the season too, because you can guarantee anything pink, silk, ruffled and adorned with a pussy now will have my heart skipping a beat (and also pretending I’m James Righton in the Love Unlimited too- which is a niche, but incredibly worthwhile reference too).

With the blouse being a new addition to Finery’s Forever Pieces collection, it comes from one of my favourite women of the moment (a.k.a forever)- Alice Levine, who has identified herself as not only bloody hilarious but also a purveyor of a fine Gucci-esque seventies inspired blouse too- can the lady do no wrong? Paired with some long-standing wardrobe veteran jeans and a new favourite lady bag I was set for an afternoon of meetings, phone chats and working from the sofa. Because if you can’t dress up for an afternoon of business on the couch, when can you?
