It seems at the moment I can’t get enough of this yolky sunshine shade. I feel almost a little parody like, as if the second I heard yellow was the new millennial pink I ran for the shops and filled my books in sorbet shades and ticked the required boxes.
But really, without being cheesy- I’ve honestly found something wholly uplifting about embracing colour more. It’s meant to be the ultimate mood lifter (check out Lindsey’s gorgeous video for a testament to this), and after an unsuccessful yellow striped t shirt search whilst in Berlin recently, have been super happy with this little Olive number (although Boden also have an amazing Breton offering)- with this being an outfit I seem to be near to exhausting week on week, but a true love letter and testament to how much I truly love all of these pieces.
With the denim, white and print clash pretty much being my week on week uniform- I’m very much enjoying the decorator-cum-CBBC kids presenter look (impractical, but gorgeous, bag and all). Summer staples these are indeed.

Anyway, I grabbed these snaps in between moments on our recent trip to Edinburgh. So much of the city is perfect stooping stonework and traditional cobbles, so discovering this little street near Stockbridge- with a row of gorgeous pastel fronts and shutters seemed the perfect place to stop and shoot in the sunshine. We were both completely bowled over by how balmy and warm it felt up there, and couldn’t have felt luckier to have clear blue skies whilst we seriously wracked up the step counter. I’ve popped a post about everywhere we headed to here, and a little more about the trip here too.
I hope you’re all having a lovely week too! In case you didn’t know I also have a weekly newsletter that goes up– so if you fancy a Sunday fill where there isn’t a post, you can sign up for that here…

June 15, 2018 at 4:02 pmHi Liv! I don’t actually think I own a single thing this lovely colour yellow in my wardrobe, something I will definitely keep my eye out for during my next shop! Looking forward to your next blog…
And I’d love it if you could check out my own new venture… it’s still very much in the early stages but still, any feedback would be great 🙂 http://www.madgesgaff.com
