So, last weekend Joe and I made the most of the sunshine and paid a visit to one of our favourite spots- not only to pay a visit to a very special spot (ahem) but to see what else was new here too. Slipping into Bill’s for a spot of brunch, we then made it around the side streets and along to a couple of our new favourite openings, which I thought I’d introduce you to…
Meet Bernard
This shop was actually somewhere I discovered whilst visiting with my parents in September of last year. Perched along the main stretch of Nelson Road, Meet Bernard is one of the strongest independent mens and women’s retailers I’ve had the pleasure of popping into for a while. Stocking a wide range of current and contemporary brands from Ganni, American Vintage, Paul Smith and YMC- it takes a whole heap of self control to resist burning a serious hole in my pocket in here. On top of that, they also have gorgeous accessories from Alex Monroe and Fabienne Capot- as well as home wares from HAY and a whole other half for menswear too. It’s a serious haven for design, and definitely somewhere I can wholeheartedly recommend for some of the best brands all in one place.

Tailor & Forge
Another little gem that we discovered whilst perusing the market at the weekend. Tailor & Forge is a gorgeous home and lifestyle store, stocking everything from dinnerware, natural cosmetics, prints, stationery, all the plants and gifts too. It’s a real gem hidden amongst lots of delightful traditional and nautical shops, and you’re guaranteed to come away having discovered something new with a little interiors inspiration too.
