Let’s get conscious…

When I say ethical fashion- you say what? Green tie dyed t shirts? Hemp cargo trousers? T shirts made from the leaves of a Palm tree? Often there’s a pretty massive and slightly uncool cliché associated with clothing that’s sustainable, but once again H&M have come around with a collection that sets to change the fashion perspective on green clothing and supply a pretty damn good range of guilt free indulgences- all whilst being wearable and up to the minute.

With the stunning Vogue cover girl Vanessa Paradis (the ultimate French babe and singer of my favourite ever ‘Joe Le Taxi’) as the face of the Conscious Collection 2013, and pieces made from organic cotton, recycled polyester and tencel- it’s got fashionable success written all over it. With the collection boasting stunning tropical prints, romantically whimsy maxi dresses, classic bouclé pieces and military inspired play suits- it’s safe to say there’s enough wardrobe staples in there for everyone.

With the collection launch around the corner, over the next few weeks I’ll be styling some of my favourite picks from the collection, mixed with my own vintage pieces, to help put together some inspiration for when the collection lands (so you can impulsively snap it up, and not worry about what it’ll go with). Keep your eyes peeled.
