Jet lag meant our second morning in the city began at a perky 9:30am (okay, well not that perky)- with a trip to local Tribeca breakfast spot, Maman (a stone’s throw away from Taylor Swizzle’s home if you measure things in a Swift kind of geography). After indulging in eggs and soldiers, granola and enough tea to fuel an army- Joe and I started exploring Greenwich Village for the first time. Usually staying on the East side of the city, it was a treat to get to know a slightly different area- and with tales of Bob Dylan and Lennon loving the neighbourhood, it felt pretty cool to get to see a different side to New York.
Although the weather quickly became too warm for this knit, I was excited to parade around in something other than shorts and dresses (that’s seasonal Liv talking for you)- and this number from Joanie (which is coming soon), paired with my favourite jeans and Converse- felt very appropriate (and dare I say…cool) for a day on our feet (and resisting repeat Sephora visits)- ahem…
