During our last day in Lisbon, Joe and I spent the day exploring the old town of Alfama; a pocket of the city dotted with sloping terracotta roofs, dwindling sloping stairs and views of the cool blue ocean when high up enough. It felt like slipping back into another time; with caught glimpses of street food vans being an instant reminder of the present. After making our way back across the city (and burning more calories climbing stairs than I arguably do at the gym), we settled down for lunch near Baixa-Chiado- before picking up some last-minute pastel da natas for the airport (a total necessity, if you ask me).
Accustomed to still have to wear jeans and a light jumper when the sun comes out in London, being able to explore the city in 25 degree sun was certainly a treat, and this little pick from Revolve did the job nicely as the perfect summer (subtle statement) piece. Paired with a light leather jacket (or pale denim), my favourite Ray Bans and shoes that would take me across the whole city, I know (read: hope) I’ll be getting plenty of wear out of it in London too…
