From The Archive: 2016

The year of travel- from Aus to Africa- as well as some of my favourite ever photos, I hope 2016 brings a small dose of wanderlust (and fashion inspiration if not)!

When Kate Spade New York Came To London

(Dress: Kate Spade New York, Bag: Kate Spade New York, Shoes: Kate Spade New York– All C/O)

You know there are those shops, where you’ll step foot inside and know, within minutes, that it’s likely you can have a wish list as long as your arm (as well as an arm weighed down by things you ‘just want to quickly try on)? Well that’s what Kate Spade New York is to me. Priding themselves on their unique prints, quirky handbags (I spotted both a wicker bumble bee and teapot in store) and ultimately a timeless nod to playful dressing- Kate Spade New York is a total haven for all things, well, beautiful- but I’m sure you know that already. Having waxed lyrical about the brand for longer than I’ve been writing this blog (and using their phone cases, FYI), the arrival of their new Regent Street flagship (which I only discovered upon the number 13 bus ride back to Charing Cross) had me pressing the bell quicker than you can say, ‘Kate’s here!’

Styling a look for their launch party this week, I was quick to pick out possibly the most Spring-like ensemble possible (I’m pretty sure the only thing I was missing was hay fever and grass stained knees)- but trust me when I say that their latest seasonal offering is some of the most gorgeous I’ve seen (anything with daisies, delicate florals and stripes is often a winner in my books)- and their selection of everything from handbags, puppy-faced pumps, homeware and even pieces for your mini-me should be more than enough to have you hot-footing it to store. Well if there’s one way to scooch to the top of my London must-visits it’s with a beehive bag, that’s for sure…

(Post in collaboration with Kate Spade New York, but long time KSNY affinity, love of cute bags and sweets all very much my own)
