Without even realising my wardrobe has taken a huge leap on to basing itself around the Pantone ‘Colour of the Year’ (which, if you’re wondering is the perfect rose quartz shade of pink and a cool baby blue- as if you could’t guess)! That, or my dress sense is now being totally dictated by my blog layout- but I think we’ll stick with the former (and make it seem completely intentional too). Anyway- these past few weeks I’ve seen a bit of a trend appearing in my wardrobe, and my sudden love for winter pastels (and this bloody white jumper) has become all too apparent. At least it cheers up people on the way to work, right?
Also- let’s talk about the coat. During my mini Somerset stay-cation last week, my family and I made a little stop off at Kilver Court (which you’ll know all about from my post here)- and a naughty stop off at the Mulberry factory shop too. Now, after resisting rows of perfect bags, I stumbled across a newly marked down rail, and pulled out this coat (and a shirt dress)- marked down by around 90%. Yup. That’s right. After doing a little panic-happy dance (and apparently, according to my mum, curtsying at the shop assistant) I whizzed to the till (with a constant fear of ‘Oh! It’s been marked down incorrectly!’) and swept the coat into my arms, like the most sad (and glorious) modern love story. What is it about the colour pink hey?
