There's recipes a plenty, some inspirational ladies and some seventies sartorial nods throughout 2015 - stay tuned for a busy year!

Often when people ask me who inspires my style, as well as listing the obvious (Alexa, Florence and a certain Ms Birkin)- I’ll often find myself citing Joe in that list too. Not only is he a snappy dresser (I’m pretty sure his coordination skills rival mine by far) but he inspires me to be more confident with my style, take risks and not to worry about how I look. That’s not to say I don’t take style hints from him too- whether that’s pairing a fedora with a chunky knit (a Galvin signature) or pulling off all of the camel- having someone to sartorially bounce from makes me feel pretty lucky- which leads me on to H&M’s love-inspired new campaign, #HMFallInLove…

The campaign Is everything you could wish for from something laced with romance; a Velvet Underground soundtrack, a Parisien backdrop (and car scene which is all too reminiscent of a certain Gradaute clip) and beautiful seventies garb that’ll have you hot footing (or glamourously floating) to your nearest H&M. But this isn’t just about having someone on your arm to feel confident- na uh! I’ve discovered it’s been pretty easy to fall in love with a clothing collection too. With H&M’s fall collection boasting some serious nods to the seventies (think bell sleeves, prints, flares and suede)- it’s a bit of a dream indeed…

Now, if this post has made you feel half as soppy as it has me- then you’re in luck! H&M are encouraging you guys to get excited for the new season by sharing your own #HMFallInLove story across Twitter and Instagram for the chance to win a £50 gift card! Whether that’s by pulling out some cosy knits, getting matchy with your other half- or simply co-ordinating your look with the Autumn leaves (guilty)- simply use the hashtag in your posts and you could win! The winner will be selected by the 12th of October! Go go go!

Post in collaboration with H&M, but boyfriend, love of Seventies inspired clothing and soppy writing all my own
