Without tempting fate, I’d like to think we may be lucky enough to be treated to a bit of an Indian Summer this year, with, of course the exception of an essential coat in tow each morning (just in case). I’m still braving a ‘skin coloured’ tight with skirts and shorts (because, they definitely are nearer to bare legs than opaques, right?) and I’m still slightly reluctant to pop my pastels and white dresses away for another year (although you can rest assured bikinis are away now, sob)- but when the weather forecast is still slightly above the teens, you can’t blame a girl, can you?
These snaps were taken a couple of weeks ago on an amazing weekend to Leeds Castle, which is definitely one of the wonders of the Kent countryside. Joe, his sister Lucy- and her boyfriend Dom and I all drove for a weekend of glamping like knights and fair maidens, exploring the grounds and learning about the opulent history of this beautiful place. I’ll be doing another post next week about the full experience, as it was definitely worth sharing, but thought I’d show you this seriously cool playsuit I paraded about in whilst there. It didn’t quite supply the full medieval look, but it certainly kept me feeling a little summery, which is the main thing.
