In my opinion, the best kind of Sundays are ones built of a happy balance of good food and good company- meaning a trip to Village East for brunch with some of my favourite friends was sure to be a treat- especially on such a grey Spring morning. It’s pretty rare that I ever stay so local when hitting the city to eat, so being able to hop off of the train and walk ten minutes was a treat in itself! But that’s without even mentioning the food… Tucking into berry compote and clotted cream pancakes is without a doubt the best way to start any morning, let me tell you (but I’ll be sure to pop this in a ‘places for brunch’ post soon).
Anyway! After stuffing our bellies and giving my new Topshop dress a little show off (there’s something that had me at billowy sleeves and table-cloth print) we headed to the Grow Wild Kew Gardens event- aiming to inspire young people to get in the garden and create some beautiful things out of bare outdoor spaces- which was inspiring to say the least! Perhaps you’ll see a post about me attempting to get all green fingers and horticultural soon too… and I ain’t talking floral prints ; )!
