A year full time and city guides a-plenty, my first venture into YouTube and a baby puppy addition- 2014 was an exciting one!

Sometimes, when you least expect it, you stumble across an outfit that you fall in love with (maybe it has something to do with the fact it’s red, and incredibly Valentines themed)- but either way, it’s a nice feeling. Last week on my way to Daisy’s house I popped into the local Primark, and fortunately- edging close to six o’clock- it was next to empty. Tempting fate I popped my head in- and who’d have thunk it, the jumper of my dreams was there to greet me. It’s not often I visit Primark- of course this isn’t intentional- but it’s safe to say every time I find the time I’m always pleasantly surprised. After picking up this skirt for £3 to match (yup, everything you just read is correct) I skipped along to the till- and hung my new purchases up ready for next day wear- now, that IS love.

On top of that- let’s take a moment to appreciate these shoes. Ever since spotting them at the Orla Kiely SS14 Presentation last September, and reading about them after the show- I was a lady in need. The only thing harder than falling in love with shoes this beautiful- is knowing you have to wait until the new year to even see them again (apparently shoes make me Carrie Bradshaw melodramatic, who knew?) Anyway- they were released last week and I’m having trouble not wearing them with all of my outfits. Not only are they by one of my favourite designers, but they’re made by Clarks– which means every step feels like you’re walking on a cloud (and it stops me being such a shortie too, winner)! Dream (collaborations) do come true!
