A couple of weekends ago, after a busy week at work, I paid a fleeting visit to the charming city of Paris. In the company of some of my favourite bloggers, a best friend from home- and one recently moved across the Channel (who we joined in the city), we departed from Victoria Coach Station on the iDBus and woke up several hours later in the slightly overcast (but soon to brighten) up, French capital.
With a little over a day to spare before our journey home- planning was essential, and a happy mix of shopping and sightseeing was on the cards and a lot of pre-blog reading (my favourite ‘Pre-Paris’ trip reads consist of The Cherry Blossom Girl, Frassy and Making Magique– with Lady Moriarty offering perfect French style). After stopping of for crepes (surely it would be rude not to?) and making the obligatory Diptyque and City Pharma stops, we wandered over to the Trocadero to admire one of the worlds most romantic sites- where my Audrey-inspired outfit suddenly felt entirely appropriate.
Now, if there’s one place where wearing Vivetta is always appropriate surely it’s in Paris (posing in front of the Eiffel Tower optional). Vivetta are by far one of the most beautiful brands around, and although a little more high end then I’d usually opt for, their quality and attention to detail is completely out of this world- and each piece is a complete piece of art. Loving the new collection so much, I borrowed a couple of pieces for my trip, and paired with plenty of cat inspired accessories (how much fun are those sunglasses?) it was the perfect opportunity and outfit to embrace some of the last days of Summer in, with my jacket gladly becoming completely redundant.
With the rest of the day spent wandering around side streets, being a complete girl around small dogs (who can blame me?) and hitting the A.P.C outlet (it happened guys)- it was a lovely way to spend a short and sweet stay in one of my favourite places, with some of my favourite friends.

P.S You may have noticed that this post is set out a little differently to others in terms of outfits- is this too big? Would you prefer the two images? Answers on a postcard!
