There’s something about a Whitepepper smock dress that has me at hello every single time. Not only are they seriously comfy, fitted in a non-fitted way and completely gorgeous- but they win the award for the easiest thing to throw on and go- and I’m pretty sure if I could only have a one brand staple wardrobe, they would definitely be up there in the shortlist. Plus, don’t you love the novelty of a pretty summer dress and bare legs? Me too. Making this little get-up the perfect outfit to throw on before leaving the house last week for some Chicken Shop dinner and catching one of my favourite new bands. Mmm-mm!
Now, on to the shoes. The shoes that have my heart, and guess what- I designed them myself! Before you think I’m an uber flash pants, give me a second. The lovely people at French shoe company Dessine-moi un Soulier kindly gave me the opportunity to give their shoe design service a trial- and I’m pretty sure I was in my element (up there with good pasta, New Girl and hot chocolate elements). After trying out flats, boots, brogues, bows and glitter- I settled on these little babies. With the option to customize their ready made pairs (which, I have to say was incredibly tempting)- shoe shopping or not- it’s a pretty fun way of playing designer for an hour or two…
