A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a little post expressing my excitement towards the new H&M Conscious Collection– and, if like me, you’ve been as hawk-eyed and eager for it to land- you’ll have realized it’s finally dropped in H&M stores, which is pretty exciting indeed. I was lucky enough to team up with the ladies at H&M and styled some of my favourite Conscious pieces (including the playsuit and jacket here) mixed with some of my go-to vintage items (ethical all the way) in order to hopefully inspire some of you lovely lot, to try out some looks for yourself, and realise how darn wearable this beautiful collection actually is, along with some of my top picks. Now, without further ado…
My first look was inspired by this springs safari trend (spotted at Nicholas K SS13 and the Amazon rain forest) to which I teamed this beautiful cotton playsuit with a white silk vintage blouse and mini tan satchel- making for a really cool ‘day to night’ outfit and something relatively fuss free, but equally pretty classic. Additionally, this playsuit would also look gorgeous with some strappy heels of an evening, or with a chunky knit whilst the weather is still less than seasonal.

My second look was something a little more ladylike and K Middy inspired (a look I tend to lean to when it comes to working bouclé into my wardrobe) and consisted of this beautiful pale jacket, the same vintage blouse and vintage pumps I picked up in Paris, and a bag from Etsy. As soon as I saw this jacket it had me at hello, and I’m pretty excited to style it with boyfriend jeans, an over sized tee and sandals come summer- if and when it finally arrives…
Have you picked up any of the pieces? How have you styled them? Link me down below, I’d love to see! Plus, stay tuned for some more styling tips soon!
