From The Archive: 2013

With magazine placements on the side, 2013 was the last year I juggled blogging as a side gig. Things get a bit girlier in the style department too, with a lorra love for the sixties and a 'hive!

Will you stay in our lovers story, if you stay you won’t be sorry

(Hat: Topshop, Coat: H&M, Faux Fur collar: New Look, Scarf: C/O Soomin x Anthropologie, Dress: C/O Olive , Boots: Topshop, Lipstick: Kate Moss Rimmel Shade 01, Pandora Charm: C/O Pandora Charms at John Greed jewellery)

With last weekends blankets of snow gradually disappearing, bar the current smattering of snow falling outside of my window- Sunday’s belated festive weather seems like a bit of a memory (ignoring the fact it’s everywhere else in the UK and trains are still delayed, of course). Although I love the summer months, and being able to throw any dress, or shorts and t shirt combination on as I wish- without thinking of the many layers to follow (3-4 at present), there’s something I enjoy about planning all the details of a warm, wintry outfit. This little get together comes as no exception, with the fedora, fur shawl and stunning Soomin for Anthropologie scarf acting as the perfect trio- with the scarf bringing the perfect burst of colour to a pretty monochrome outfit (it just like, totally, works with the snow, right?)…

and here’s what I wore…
