First things first- Happy New Year! I hope you all had a safe and super fun New Year’s Eve. Mine consisted of many giggles (and karaoke) with some of my favourite people, lots of curry, Jools Holland’s annual Hootenanny and lots of fizzy pop and table games- perfect! I’m now cosying up in a beanie hat the size of my head, Hugh Grant and the rest of the tinned sweets – so thought I’d show you one of my most recent outfits, looking a little more glamorous than I’m feeling at present…
Anyway- this is my attempt at trying to look relatively ‘sassy’ (lol, I jest) whilst being battered by the wind and rain just before New Years Eve and en route for some afternoon tea with Mama P and Nana F. Ladylike- I think not. However, with the help of this Sugarhill Boutique ‘Windsor’ dress, any sogginess supplied by the great British weather was dutifully suppressed. Additionally, I added my favourite collar clips from the beautiful Jaymie, matching lipstick and felt positively regal whilst sipping on a cuppa at my local favourite, Annabel’s.
One of my favourite gifty shops and places to stop by for some tea and cake, Annabel’s is the perfect place to while away an afternoon (no macs or free wifi here) sampling their home made treats and huge gift emporium (big word but they’ve got some awesome things). I seriously recommend a visit for anyone local. Where are your favourite places for some good ol’ cake?
