There are few things I enjoy more after a leisurely lie in on a Sunday morning, than indulging in a naughty fried breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, tomatoes-bliss), teamed with a sugary cup of Earl Grey- with the people I love the most. Whether it be sitting in the kitchen in grubby tartan pjs, or exploring new parts of the world in greasy spoons or independent cafes- Sunday brunch is certainly one of the finer things in life.

Recently, we ventured to Giraffe for a spot of breakfast, and after having walked past it on many occasions I was pretty impressed by the huge amount on the menu (porridge, pancakes, smoothies, meat, EVERYTHING) and more so, how it turned up! It was pretty busy being a late Sunday morning, and although it took a little while to arrive it was a really lovely treat, and certainly kept me full ’til dinner.
We also walked it off by heading over to one of my favourite corners of London- Greenwich, and ended up browsing around the gorgeous market and colourful, flavoursome stalls, as well as heading to a notable amount of sweet and record shops- with several pit stops for browsing (and refraining from investing in any more vintage!) I can’t wait to head back over the festive season- and am looking forward to seeing the newly restored Cutty Sark and getting my history head on!
