From The Archive: 2012

A year of fewer questionable outfit choices, I finally found my blogging groove in 2012, and here you can find some favourite pieces, band interviews as they first appeared and a lot of hats too...

You’re too old to be so shy

(Jumper: COS, Dress: C/O Lovestruck, Shoes: Vintage)

Another outfit the weather has forced me to snap inside, someone remind me to take an umbrella out more please?

Despite this, I have to say I’m quite enjoying getting all cosy inside in my favourite (now slightly-bobbly) jumper. Despite going into mild panic about initially spending Β£55 on this COS number- if you work out cost per wear, I think it’s now paid for itself, and there is something completely fail safe about a good navy crew neck (definitely the most-middle aged thing I’ve said to date)…

Plus, there’s definitely something about putting on a chunky jumper over a summery dress, nude tights (autumnal cheating at it’s very finest) and putting the kettle on, right? It’s pretty safe to say I am in love with this Lovestruck dress, and although it’s arguably pretty summery, teaming it with the above has made it a pretty safe autumnal choice, and definitely something I’m going to try with the rest of my summer pieces.

How do you make your summer wardrobe last into the colder months? Answers on a postcard!
