I’ll be honest, there aren’t many things that get me excited for the cold weather. Of course, I LOVE Christmas (always excited for some festive fun), but after my winter coat has been purchased and I’m once again standing under a bus shelter in single digit temperatures- the novelty of autumn usually wears a little thin and I’m longing for sunshine once more.
However, when I see collections like this one from my favourites Dahlia, my faith is usually restored a little (okay, a lot). With beautiful tapestry and brocade prints in rich seasonal tones, gorgeous embellished collars, pinafore dresses aplenty (Maisy dress be mine please) and some seriously list-worthy oversized snug coats- it really seems this weather isn’t called cool for nothing!
