After warming up in the Cath Kidston van, and browsing the gorgeous selection of home ware (and falling in love with their snuggly tartan blankets), Jazmine, Kristabel and I made a direct beeline for Byron (yeah, they had a van) to messily tackle a classic burger before heading over to the ‘i’ stage for two of my favourite bands ever ever, Summer Camp and Kindness.
With the rain making it’s debut at the festival as Summer Camp were about to begin- me being the embarrassing number one fan girl headed for the front- camera, killer moves (I jest) and sing-along-voice at the ready. As per usual my favourite musical couple (or favourite couple in general, you know, ahem) did not dissapoint (although I fear the people behind me could only hear my unfortunate wailing) and certainly set the standard for a perfect evening of music.

After thinking about food a little bit more, and returning to the big Tea Bus to importantly decide whether I quite fancied some shortbread- we headed over to see Kindness (swoon), which, inevitably was a swingin’ party (anyone see what I did there? no?) After cutting some serious shapes and wrapping ourselves in our new blankets, we headed back to the cottage, just in time for some slumber party fun (hot chocolate and chocolate included) before bidding a reluctant farewell the next morning…

(Would just like to say a HUGE thank you to the wonderful Cath Kidston team for such a pleasurable weekend, I am one grateful and happy Liv!)
