With the weather slowly turning a dull shade of grey once more, it appears my brief week of wearing anything above my knee is fizzling out- and out come the trousers and tights once again. Saying that, as I’ve mentioned in the past, I have a not-so secret love with anything printed- especially a darn good pair of slacks (trousers to anyone who speaks normal English). So, although these trousers are pretty light, they make for the perfect transseasonal piece with this stunning and very ladylike Olive blouse (no, they don’t have anything not to love on their website FYI). Making this outfit perfect for a spot of afternoon tea…
As you may or may not know- whenever I write, or line up a post- you can nearly almost expect some sort of afternoon tea reference, or at least some connection to a sweet or sugary treat (in fact, anything food related). But having recently written about some of my favourite places in and around London to pick up the perfect Earl Grey and gooey brownie, it’d be rude to leave out ‘You Don’t Bring Me Flowers’.

Not far from my home, ‘YDBMF’ is a gorgeous florist and coffee shop, just outside of central London oozing some of the best home baked treats (including pasties, cupcakes, brownies and sandwiches) in the south east. Additionally, with a selection of gorgeous one-of a kind trinkets (or junkets, Joe) and the Rolling Stones humming away in the background it’s a mighty fine place to wind down with a pot of warm tea and some friendly faces.
