(Top, Cardigan & Boots: Dorothy Perkins, Jeans: American Apparel, Hat: Miss Selfridge)
If you’ve followed my blog for any period of time you’ll be aware that I’m a serial high street shopper. There is nothing I love more than rooting around my local Topshop, getting lost in the Freedom jewellery and then racing up the escalator to Miss Selfridge. However, in my opinion, one of the mega-high street brands that usually gets slightly overshadowed is Dorothy Perkins (Dotty P’s to fellow high-street crazies). So, when I was recently contacted by the brand, I was intrigued. I hadn’t paid a visit to their site for a while and was curious to investigate their upcoming Autumn offerings- and they certainly didn’t disappoint. With printed suede ankle boots, luxurious knitwear, fitted leather bikers and the perfect selection of ladylike dresses and miniature boxy lady bags; Dotty’s offer the perfect all round selection of transseasonal clothing in some of the most wearable and well priced offerings I’ve spotted on the Great British high street.
After creating a selection of looks for their site (you can see the full feature here), I’m pretty sure this is one of my favourite outfits. With an oversized lurex tee adding a little sparkle to my go-to jeans and t shirt combo, studded hat, burgundy cardigan and new fave leopard booties; this is certainly a look I’ll be channelling all the way through to Autumn.
P.S Lovely (and hugely selfless and generous) blogger Amy is selling her gorgeous photograph prints in order to raise money for the R.S.P.C.A- please take a little peek at her page, and spread the word, such a good cause!
