From The Archive: 2012

A year of fewer questionable outfit choices, I finally found my blogging groove in 2012, and here you can find some favourite pieces, band interviews as they first appeared and a lot of hats too...

I lost track of time remind me how it started, a motorcade of kids all headed to a party

(Dress: Motel, Shoes: Zara)

After browsing the Autumn Winter Motel collection, I was absolutely bowled over upon discovering this Kate Middleton-meets-ballerina-fairy dress, and instantly fell in love with it’s simplicity, elegance and amazing versatility. Although I only teamed it with some nude strappy shoes for a simple summery look, I’m sure it would look just as lovely with an oversized black boyfriend jacket and cosy opaque tights come winter! The collection oozes intricate prints, rich colour pallets and some gorgeously luxurious fabrics (think velvet and lace detailing) all combining next seasons trends, without losing their transseasonal charm.

Anyway, I hope you’re all enjoying the glorious British sunshine and have had a lovely week! I’ve had a busy week of work, Byron burgers and seeing Spector live at Rough Trade for their album launch; which I have to say is AMAZING. So if you listen to one band today/buy one album get ‘Enjoy it while it lasts’ I promise it won’t disappoint.
