From The Archive: 2012

A year of fewer questionable outfit choices, I finally found my blogging groove in 2012, and here you can find some favourite pieces, band interviews as they first appeared and a lot of hats too...

Let me be your everlasting light

(Blouse: The Vintage Set, Jumper: COS, Bag: Zara, Jeans: American Apparel, Shoes: Vintage, Sunglasses: The Vintage Set, Lipstick: Mischief by Topshop )

As often as you’ll see girlie dresses, florals, a messy Hepburn beehive, and candy cane colours galore on this blog, I’m probably equally as tomboyish at the best of times and like nothing more than having my worn in denim jeans on for days on end (washing in-between, naturally). My day-to-day go to is undeniably a striped tee and jeans, and whilst I love nothing more than dressing up as a year-6 prom queen, the satisfaction of throwing on a jumper, t shirt and a comfy basic pair of slacks, is second to none. So, with that in mind- I thought I’d show you another of my favourite, and arguably more timeless outfits. Having received this blouse from the lovely ladies at The Vintage Set, I decided to team it with my new favourite COS jumper and girlish Zara handbag (a girl gotta do, what a girl gotta do) and pop it off with some white vintage flats- a truly patriotic combo!

What are your go-to outfits for ‘day-to-day’ living? Or is every day a dress up day?

P.S Due to a brief blog sized hiatus yesterday evening, you lucky people are now going to get TWO posts today (yeah AND New Girl and the Bake Off are on tonight, lucky lucky stars!)
