My first Project Take 10!

You may have seen other Take 10 posts scattered around the blogosphere over the past few months, and to actually be the newest member of the group and to take part of this months challenge (number 21!) felt like an honour, having been a keen reader of their previous style challenges. However, if you’re not so familiar with ‘Take 10’ let me paint a picture for you. Each month, 10 bloggers receive an item, either identical or similar, to which they each style it with their own personal take, allowing readers to see 10 completely different ways one thing can be styled up-pretty cool eh?

Anyway, this month we were each sent either a yellow vintage style dress or sheer polka dot maxi skirt from the House of Holland Debenhams range, a pretty cool collection if I do say so myself! I opted for this yellow kite print collared dress, which I love. Even though I don’t usually wear yellow (have you SEEN how pale I am) it works surprisingly well with a lick of red lipstick and a contrasting belt, teamed with ankle socks and a cute brogue (not pictured).
