So, I’m back from my two day mini break to Brighton with Joe! We had a really lovely time, bar the weather which was a little apocalyptic yesterday (slight exaggeration, but it was not pleasant!) Unfortunately because of this I didn’t manage to take as pictures as I’d have liked, but I’ll pop in some anyway for good measure.
Anyway, we stayed in an absolutely gorgeous Bed & Breakfast, called Snooze. About a 15 minute walk from the town centre, and in the middle of Kemp Town and it’s shops, it was a really cosy place, with THE most awesome interior décor, with each room set to a different theme, and always something to look at!

We managed to look around The Lanes and the North Laine, and wander around the go-to vintage shops (Dirty Harry’s, To be worn again, Snooper’s Paradise, Wolf & Gypsy, Beyond Retro etc) whilst picking up a cookies ‘n’ cream cupcake, from my all time favourite cupcake shop ‘The Angel Food Bakery‘. We also ate in Jamie’s Italian, which was gorgeous, I left feeling very spoilt and full (with an ever so garlicy breath mmmm)!

Due to the horrendous weather, as in not been able to walk along the sea-front due to the wind weather, we went to see One Day, after wanting to see it since it came out! Two words: emotional wreck. It was such a lovely/sad film, and contrary to what some have said I really loved Anne Hathaway’s performance, and fell slightly in love with Jim Sturgess- a must see, providing you bring the tissues. We also curled up in the room and watched ‘This is Spinal Tap’ which provided many lolz indeed!
